Chachabet KYC & AML Policy

Chachabet operates under a licensed framework in the Netherlands and applies Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures as required by Dutch and European regulatory standards. These measures are in place to protect the integrity of the platform, ensure user safety, and prevent financial crime, including money laundering and the financing of terrorism. All users registered on the platform are subject to these obligations, which reflect Chachabet’s commitment to responsible and transparent operations.

Purpose of KYC & AML

Chachabet applies KYC and AML procedures to carry out identity checks, prevent fraud, and maintain full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. These processes are central to delivering a secure, fair, and transparent environment for all account holders.

  • Fair play is upheld by ensuring all users operate under verified and equal conditions
  • User safety is maintained through continuous account protection measures
  • Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection legislation
  • Regulatory compliance is met by adhering to Dutch and EU-level anti-financial crime obligations
  • Transparency is preserved by applying consistent and non-discriminatory verification standards across all registered accounts

KYC Requirements

Every new user on the platform is required to complete an ID verification process before full access to account features is granted. Depending on the circumstances, one or more of the following document categories may be requested during document submission:

  • A valid government-issued photo identification document, such as a national identity card or passport
  • Proof of address, issued within a recent timeframe and confirming the user’s registered place of residence
  • Confirmation of ownership over any payment method linked to the account, to ensure funds are managed by the verified account holder
  • Additional supporting documentation may be requested in cases where standard submissions are insufficient to complete the identity check

AML Measures

Chachabet implements a structured set of security measures designed to detect and prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, and other forms of illegal financial activity on the platform. The following controls are in place as part of the platform’s AML framework:

  • Ongoing transaction monitoring to identify irregular patterns or behaviours that deviate from expected account activity
  • Automated detection rules that flag potentially suspicious activity in real time
  • Enhanced due diligence procedures applied to accounts or transactions that present elevated risk indicators
  • Manual review of large transfers or unusual financial movements that fall outside standard activity thresholds
  • Risk scoring applied to user accounts based on behavioural, transactional, and profile-based criteria
  • Screening of users against international sanctions lists and databases of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
  • Reporting obligations fulfilled by submitting relevant cases to the appropriate Dutch and EU competent authorities when required by law

Prohibited Activities

The platform enforces a strict set of restrictions that directly support the integrity of its KYC and AML framework. The following actions are prohibited and may result in immediate enforcement measures:

  • Operating multiple accounts or registering under a different identity to circumvent verification procedures
  • Submitting forged, altered, or stolen documents during the ID verification or document submission process
  • Conducting or attempting to conduct transactions intended to launder funds through the platform
  • Manipulating platform systems, games, or processes in a manner that undermines fair play or regulatory compliance
  • Sharing, selling, or otherwise transferring account access to another individual
  • Using payment instruments that are not owned or controlled by the verified account holder
  • Providing false or misleading personal data at any stage of the registration or verification process

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Any breach of the platform’s KYC or AML obligations constitutes a serious violation and will be subject to immediate enforcement action. Depending on the nature and severity of the breach, measures may include temporary or permanent account suspension, freezing or confiscation of funds linked to suspicious activity, cancellation of bets or associated winnings, and reporting to competent Dutch or EU authorities where applicable.

User Responsibilities

All registered users are required to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal data at all times throughout their use of the platform. Verification procedures must be completed in a timely manner, and users are expected to respond promptly to any requests for additional documentation submitted by the compliance team. Only payment methods that are directly owned and controlled by the verified account holder may be used for deposits and withdrawals, in line with the platform’s account protection standards. Users who become aware of any suspicious activity relating to their account or to another user’s conduct are encouraged to report this through the available support channels. Failure to fulfil these responsibilities may be treated as non-compliance and may trigger enforcement measures as outlined in this policy.

Fair Play and Transparency

Chachabet maintains a firm commitment to fair play and transparency, ensuring that all users operate within a safe, compliant, and equally governed environment. The following principles guide the platform’s approach to user safety and regulatory responsibility:

  • Full compliance with applicable KYC and AML standards as required under Dutch and European law
  • Strict confidentiality and lawful handling of all personal data submitted by users during identity checks or document submission
  • Continuous monitoring of account activity to detect and respond to suspicious activity in a timely manner
  • Active prevention of manipulation, collusion, and any conduct that undermines fair play across the platform
  • Dedicated user support for matters relating to account security, verification procedures, and safety concerns
  • Shared responsibility, recognising that both the platform and its users play a role in maintaining a secure environment
  • Consistent and equal application of regulatory requirements to all account holders, regardless of account status or activity level
